Ostlunds Honored

Oregon Blueberry Commissioners present Bryan and Lisa Ostlund the Outstanding Excellence to the Blueberry Industry Award for 2020.

The Oregon blueberry industry took time out from a busy program at the 2020 Oregon Blueberry Conference in Salem February 3 to honor Oregon Blueberry Commission Administrator Bryan Ostlund and his wife, Lisa, who assists the Commission.

“Bryan and Lisa have been putting countless hours into our industry,” said Oregon Blueberry Commission Chair Jeff Malensky in presenting the Ostlunds the industry’s Outstanding Excellence to the Blueberry Industry award for 2020.

“They have pushed us in so many different initiatives, both domestically and increasingly abroad, where they have been at the forefront of opening new markets,” Malensky said.

“It is my pleasure to present them with this award,” Malensky said.

In accepting the award, Bryan Ostlund said the Ostlunds were honored. He added, “It is a tremendous team we have in our office, and we really appreciate the blueberry industry. We love working with you guys. Thank you.”
