Oregon Blueberry Skillet Slump
This traditional dessert uses fresh blueberries with biscuit dough dropped in and baked together.
For Filling:

1 Quart Fresh Blueberries

½ c. Sugar

½ c. Water

1 tsp. Lemon Zest
- 1 T. Lemon juice
- 1 c. Flour

2 T. Sugar

2 tsp. Baking Powder

½ tsp. Salt
- 1 T. Butter
- ½ c. Milk
For Dumplings:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Using a 10” skillet or baking pan, combine filling ingredients in skillet and bring to a boil while stirring until thickened slightly.
- Combine dry dumpling ingredients, cut in cold butter and moisten with milk until a shaggy dough is formed.
- Drop 6 portions of thick dumpling dough into simmering blueberry mixture.
- Bake for 20 min or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream if desired.
